Educator Training
The Behavioral Pediatrics Resource Center provides tailored training sessions for educators and childcare professionals. There exists a prevalent gap in the understanding of autism and the unique requirements of students affected by it among individuals working with children. Our comprehensive training encompasses effective strategies to support students with autism, ADHD, and anxiety.
Community Education
The Behavioral Pediatrics Resource Center provides speakers for civic organizations, government agencies and other groups to help them better understand autism spectrum disorder, ADHD and anxiety.
These groups include organizations such as DFCS, foster parents, and law enforcement.
Our Team
Michelle Zeanah, MD., Executive Director and Founder
Dr. Zeanah has been focusing exclusively on behavioral pediatrics since 2016 and works with children with autism, ADHD, and anxiety almost every day. She is known not only for her excellent care but also for sharing her expertise with her community when needed. Dr. Zeanah founded Behavioral Pediatrics Resource Center in 2018 when she saw the gaps in knowledge in the community that medical care does not cover.
Sharon Draeger, M.Ed. Project Manager
Sharon Draeger, M.Ed. is the project manager for the Behavioral Pediatrics Resource Center. As a retired educator and school administrator, Sharon brings her experience and expertise to the Resource Center. Her dedication to children inspired her to become a part of this nonprofit organization and share information with the community about autism, ADHD and anxiety.
